A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about possible surgery to correct your deviated septum. Generally, I would recommend that you see an ear, nose and throat surgeon (ENT) to discuss the best way forward for you. This is because deviated septums need to be addressed from inside and this is generally best performed by an ENT surgeon who can look at the septum internally to work out the best option for you. You’ll be able to schedule an appointment with an ENT surgeon locally and it may be worthwhile probably seeing your GP to give you advises to most appropriate surgeon in your region.
