Q. i am interested in the nose surgery, i have already had my nose reshaped about5 yrs ago however i am wanting the centre narrowed further as it is still thick and big. Im not sure if this is possible and what i need also is to know your experience of these surgeries. Many thanks,

 

A. Thank you for your inquiry. From what you describe, I believe that this is related to use of spreader grafts in the context of an open tip rhinoplasty. This would be the main cause for wider appearance of the middle third of the nasal vault. It is possible to achieve a narrower contour, but as far as I am concerned it would require again and open tip approach. It does not represent as such a widely recognised condition, so I tend to deal with it as and when patients are complaining of it.
