Q. I wanted to have rhinoplasty at the same time as having a face lift. Is this something that could be done? Cost is not really a concern I just though it was best to have everything done at the sametime.,
A. Thank you for your inquiry. It is certainly possible to have rhinoplasty and facelift surgery together for someone who is in good health. Considerations regarding separating these 2 procedures would be related health constraints placed on the duration of surgery, or requirements for anticoagulation, which is not compatible with rhinoplasty.

A. Thank you for your inquiry. I am not sure whether you referring to reconstruction of the nasal septum, or a septorhinoplasty. If you referring to a septorhinoplasty, I would be happy to assist you, if you’re referring to reconstruction of the nasal septum, it is not a procedure commonly performed. This may be related to cocaine use which is on of the most common mechanisms for damage to the nasal septum, and leads to a change in the shape of the nose together with it. However, in this situation, it is often possible to restore the shape and function of the nose, without necessarily having to address the nasal septum. It does require however using rib cartilage to support the tip and bridge of the nose. The alternative is represented by using bone graft.
