Q. I had an otoplasty, rhinoplasty surgery in poland at the end of february this year, I am happy mostly with the results of the surgery… but I thought the tip of my nose was swollen but it doesnt seem to have gone down at all,my nose still projects far too much at the tip, and it looks a little bit ridiculous. it is possible the surgeon didnt think that he needed to do too much to the end of my nose even though I was unhappy with the size and shape of my nostrils also, because my nose to start with was very strong and projected from my face…(imagine patrick stewarts nose) and when we discussed it he reasured my the skin would shrink he said and said he would see what he could do about my wierd nostril dimples. I think he may have just made the tip boxier, and im sure there is only so much you can do with a closed rhinoplasty at one time (i know without pictures you cant really say) I sent a lot of photos prior to flying out but only had a short consultation the day before the surgery in person. I dont think the surgeon made any mistakes because i can breathe much better now when one of my nostrils used to always feel blocked, and i realize that I am still healing.and I also think if id had surgery in the uk i wouldnt have been able to afford both surgeries at the same time and also from before and after pictures I have seen from the uk rhinoplasties tend to be quite conservative and I would really like a small petite nose. I was treated very well at their surgery. my questions are; how do I broach the subject with the surgeon without insulting the surgery or placing blame? and do I need to do this at all if intend on having a revision in the uk this time ? (because this time I dont want the stress of air travel after surgery again) im considering this time to ask to be put asleep because having all those injections in my face and the surgery was fairly unsettling. how long after the operation is appropriate to consider operating again? sometimes the sinus bridge area still aches so must still be healing, its been about 6 months since the surgery and I am absolutely certain I need a secondary surgery. the very idea of having a secondary surgery is a difficult idea to cope with because my mother does not approve of plastic surgery and took my childhood photos down after I had had the surgery in a sort of passive aggressive disowning, and I currently live with her, ive worked very hard for the last 4 months which was quite embarrasing considering, trying not to think about people looking at my profile or knowing i had had surgery and avoiding people I had known before. this time ive only saved up £2,800 odd to fix my nose. So would need to get a family member to be a guarnteer for a loan for the rest. I was trying to think it was just still swollen and was a passable normal nose. now even the thought of going out is scary after seeing some pictures which confirmed my worse fears, it looks ‘done’ and still ‘big’ but now pug, and not attractive at all. so im going to have to pay for and put my self through a second nose job.i am not in fulltime employment now at the moment but cant bare the thought of it until I look more normal so how do i go about organizing all this? what is the correct procedure? I would really appreciate your thoughts on my very wordy and possibly silly troubles, any views about anything I have said are very welcome. thank you for your time,

He may well consider revision surgery complimentary if there is a correctable problem agreed by both parties.
