Q. I have been getting some prices for revision rhinoplasty and noticed it is more the first procedure, why is there such an increase in price for a secondry procedure please?,

 

A. Most secondary rhinoplasties are more complex than primary rhinoplasty procedures, sometimes the operation takes longer in the operating theatre and sometimes the surgeon charges more. Sometimes we have to take grafts from the rib, from cartilages in the ear, and other tissues to rebuild some of the damaged structures, so that’s often why secondary rhinoplasty can be more expensive.

A. Thank you for your inquiry. It depends to a great extent on the shape of the nasal septum, which is the partition between the nostrils. If the septum is overall straight, there can be an asymmetry of the tip of the nose which is more readily correctable with limited surgery. Otherwise, I would advocate an open tip septorhinoplasty to achieve the correction. Q. I would like to know the average cost of two operations (crooked nose correction and removing a bump from the bridge of the nose) & how soon could they be done from first consultation ? Could they be done at the same time in one operation?,
