I would like more info/advice about the septorhinoplasty procedure to fix the breathing problem

Q. I would like more info/advice about the septorhinoplasty procedure to fix the breathing problem I have had over the last few months. I have seen the doctor about the problem and although it may be a possability of getting it done on the NHS it all depends on how long I will have to wait for treatment.,
 
A. Hi there. I can certainly do a septorhinoplasty for you privately, and I can see you at my clinic at La Belle Forme for a consultation and I can book you in for treatment. If there is a particular time that suits you best, I’m sure I can fit you in if I have space available. At the moment, I have a bit of a waiting list, but I can often squeeze someone in as an extra during various days and times when I’m available for extra cases. Q. 3 years ago i was beaten up by a group of men with my face being damaged due to them kicking me in the face(nice people..) my face was badly bruised and cut and my nose had shifted to one side of my face. after the cuts and swelling went down i went to the hospital so a nurse could realign my nose. all seemed well for the first couple of weeks until i had a photo taken and my nose had a very obvious curve to it. (its not obvious in person) baring in mind at the time i was working full time as a model. this curve in my nose had seriously affected that career but i do not have the funds for cosmetic surgery. i can also only breath in through my right nostril. how much would it cost to realign my nose and what would the expected recovery time be?,

Q. I had septorhinoplasty done 12 days ago to have a hump removed, i didn’t want anything else changed, ie nostrils, length etc… but now when i look in the mirror my left nostril is much higher than the right, and i feel as if my nose has shurnk, although it is straight it looks like a tube, like in the film avatoir, just not blue. it’s really getting to me will it drop back down to the normal length> my surgeon told me to expect some tip rotation, but it just looks squashed and piggy like, When i smile i look evil! i had such a lovely smile, now i look like the joker from batman, what do you suggest? and would massage help reduce swelling although i don’t have much it seems to have all gone down.,

I would suggest discussing this in a consultation using computer imaging either on standard photographs or 3D, in order better evaluate what it is you would consider to be a good result for you. Sometimes, the surgery leads to an elegant shape of the nose, but for the patient the proportions with the rest of the face are not right, and this is where I believe computer imaging can help clarify what would be the ideal outcome for the intervention, and whether it is indeed feasible. Without any doubt, the outcome of surgery is always somewhat different from the simulation, but I feel that when the plan is accurate the chance of success is improved.
