I have a small hump and nose is overprojected and tip a bit bulbous. Could surgery fix these problems?

Q. I have a small hump and nose is overprojected and tip a bit bulbous. Could surgery fix these problems?,

A. Thank you for your enquiry. What you describe falls under the scope of reduction rhinoplasty, which is one of the most common reasons for rhinoplasty surgery. You can find out more about it on my website at: http://www.allaboutcosmeticsurgery.co.uk/rhinoplasty/types/reduction-rhinoplasty To begin with, it is possible to design the type of changes you would like to see on a computer simulation, which will allow me to present you with a treatment plan that will aim to achieve the changes. Bearing in mind however that the outcome of the surgery is never identical to the computer based image.

My nose has lost support around the tip and around the nostrils which has resulted in the droop being much worse than it should be

Q. My nose has lost support around the tip and around the nostrils which has resulted in the droop being much worse than it should be. How could I have this fixed please?,

A. Thank you for your question. In general terms, restoring support to the tip of the nose and a degree of rotation as you described maybe better achieved through an open rhinoplasty intervention, at least from my experience. At the time of a consultation, it is possible to evaluate on a computer simulation what it is you would like to see as a result of the treatment, and therefore plan the operation accordingly. Nonetheless, there will be differences between any computer-based design and the outcome of an intervention.

I have a droopy tip at the end of my nose and was wondering if i can straighten it through non surgical rhinoplasty?

Q. hi, I have a droopy tip at the end of my nose and was wondering if i can straighten it through non surgical rhinoplasty? please can you get back to me?,

A. Thank you for your enquiry. To the best of my knowledge and experience, a droopy nasal tip can only be moderately improved by nonsurgical means. The approach involves building up more volume at the base of the columella, and a degree of augmentation in the upper part of the nasal tip.A

I had my nose broken about a year ago and I had an opration done on the NHS to straighten my nose

Q. hi, I had my nose broken about a year ago and I had an opration done on the NHS to straighten my nose and clear my right nosrtil airway. When I woke up they told me they had made sutle changes to my nose, i did not ask for any changes except to straighten it. Now my tip is big and bulbus and the top part of my nose is to thin. Will the NHS perfrom another op to fix this as it was their doing? What would you reccomend doing about this?,

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, I’m sorry that you’re unhappy with the tip of your nose which you feel is slightly too bulbus. I think it would certainly be worthwhile going back to your NHS surgeon and discussing your concerns with them. It is possible to refine and reduce the tip of your nose if you feel this would be appropriate for you. Alternatively, it would be possible to schedule a free consultation with one of our specialists rhinoplasty surgeons to discuss the best way forward for you. In the mean time, have a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk which has lots of information about rhinoplasty and the pros and cons of the procedures. Many thanks for your enquiry, we look forward to seeing you if you do decide to schedule a free consultation which you can do by ringing us on 01844-214362. Is this possible to make changed to the nose without surgery?

Q. Is this possible to make changed to the nose without surgery? I would to make changes to shape to my tip of the nose but am scared of surgery to even think about it but think that injections i could tolerate?,

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, certainly it is possible to change the appearance of the tip of your nose with a dermal filler which are inserted via injections. This is really the only option that does not involved surgery that could be used to treat this area. If you feel you would like to discuss this option please ring us on 01844-214362 or email us at info@aurora-clinics.co.uk and one of our staff we’ll be happy to schedule a day for a free consultation with one of our specialist nose surgeons. I would like to change the tip of my nose as its a bit wide

Q. I would like to change the tip of my nose as its a bit wide and also lift the tip of my nose a littlebit because its a littlebit droopy. So I am thinking about a tip rhinoplasty. Is this surgery more or less expensive then a standard rhinoplasty? Please could you give me an approximate price. Thank you,

A. Hi there. The cost for a rhinoplasty is fixed and is no different if you have a tip rhinoplasty or a standard reduction rhinoplasty. The treatment of a tip can be quite complex depending on what we see, and so we want to spend our time and care on the procedure just as much as with any other kind of rhinoplasty. My clinic staff would be happy to speak to you about costs, and please give them a call on 01415520828 or email enquiries@labelleforme.co.uk
